Dead Time

Dead Time is the time when a worker is unable to perform duties due to factors beyond his or her control such as missing freight, missing electrical orders, and unforeseen accidents. Dead Time can become very costly at show site especially if labor runs into overtime. Planning ahead and having fall back plans may help to prevent Dead Time from happening.
