Drayage, also known as Material Handling, is the movement of show materials from shipping dock to booth for show set up and back to dock for return shipment at end of show. Drayage has many different stages in the process of bringing freight to an exhibit space. Forklifts will first bring the initial shipment to the location. Once the containers are empty they are labeled, they are brought to the Bone Yard or holding area until show break. Once the show is over the empties will be brought back to the exhibit and then moved again once loaded to the shipping freight trucks.
