General Contractor
A General Contractor (aka General Services Contractor or Decorator) is a show management appointed company providing services to a trade show and its exhibitors. Also called Official Contractor, General Contractors (GC or GSC) have more duties, responsibilities and services than an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor; instead of one exhibit they have the responsibility over the overall entire show. Most General Contractors will provide labor services, carpet, furniture and accessories rental, signage, freight materials handling, show management requirements and show logistics.
