Power Strip
A Power Strip is a movable unit having multiple electrical outlets. Power strips, also called Power Squids or Electrical Squids, are often confused with surge protectors because they look similar however power strips will not protect devices if a power spike was to happen on the electrical line they are attached to. A best use for power strips is to allow multiple plug-in units to have power from one access point instead of multiple lines for each electronic device. All power strips used on the convention floor have to be rated and UL listed before they can be used.
