Rigger
A Rigger is a skilled worker responsible for the handling and assembly of machinery. Most exhibitors with specialty machinery will hire their own certified riggers to move in, prepare and test specialty equipment needed for the trade show.
A Rigger is also a skilled union worker who operates a lift machine for hanging signage, lights, truss or other items that need to be rigged from ceiling.
