Less Than Truckload (LTL)

Less Than Truckload (LTL)

Less Than Truckload (LTL) is the rate charged for freight weighing less than the minimum weight for a truckload. LTL means the shipment does not require a full 48 or 53 foot trailer which is standard and instead can be loaded on either a smaller box truck or be shipped with multiple freight from multiple locations. Less Than Truckload freight has the ability to save logistics costs if sent as part of another shipment going to the same location.
