Low Voltage
Low Voltage is a term applied to electrical currents of 24 volts or less. Usually used in animation and specialty lighting such as LED lights. Low voltage currents are energy saving options compared to normal voltage which draws more power and in turn costs more to run. The only downside to low voltage lighting is having to use a transformer to change the power output which can become bulky when trying to hide wires on an exhibit.
