FHC
FHC is an acronym which stands for Fire Hose Cabinet. This notation is located on floor plans to indicate the locations of the fire hose cabinets. These cabinets cannot be covered or obstructed in any way due to fire code and building regulations. Some convention facilities allow a minimum safe distance from all fire house cabinets from any one exhibit or structure.
