We love New Orleans….it’s a great convention city. New Orleans offers an unbeatable combination of fantastic facilities, exceptional food, great music, historic multi-cultural landmarks and candy store-like choices of things to do. No matter how many times I’m in this wonderful meeting place, I’m not too jaded to admit that once again, I took the beads & marched with 1500 Conference Attendees in a parade that stretched 2 &1/2 blocks, led by an awesome New Orleans band to board for a sunset cruise; Down Canal street, through the French Quarter to the Delta Queen and Natchez for a scenic excursion of music, drinks and dining. And because it’s New Orleans, the food was excellent. Yes….you read that right…..a city where cuisine is an art form so even the cruise had delicious Cajun food. With so many parallels to our home base in Las Vegas and so many unique things as well, it was an easy choice to roll out Complete Show Services in the Big Easy.
With our new boots on the ground I&D Exhibitor Appointed Contractor services launching in conjunction with a General Contracting division exposition, I had the pleasure of spending some quality time in the Crescent City last week on all of our jobs.
New Orleans, like our home base in Las Vegas, offers a multitude of facility options for large footprint events or the specialized conferences like IEEE’s MMM 2016 61st annual scientific meeting at the New Orleans Marriott). I have been fortunate to be working for many years with the people making up our new office’s local New Orleans crew. Our Nawlins’ team will outperform anyone! Our crew has a deep trade show services skill set, an efficient operations mind set, and a friendly can –do attitude. We have all the local knowledge needed to preemptively trouble shoot to get our clients what they need, no matter what…day or night, weekday or weekend!
New Orleans has it going on for foodies. The dining choices are some of the finest in the country….so when you’re staying in the Convention corridor we know you will hop into Mr. B’s, Antoine’s, Court of two Sisters, Commanders Palace, Brennan’s or one of the newest Chef inspired restaurants. Having spent time with our local crew, I was lucky enough to venture out into the real neighborhoods where the food is as good as all the people I met. Although we’d be more than thrilled to take you out to one of the famous name restaurants, we hope when you’re in town and we’re installing your exhibit or entire show that you let us introduce you to real Louisiana cooking at some of these family favorite local establishments:
- Katie’s Restaurant – www.katiesinmidcity.com
- Central Po Boys – www.centralpoboys.com
- Parkway Bakery & Tavern – www.parkwaypoorboys.com
- Mena’s Palace – www.menaspalace.com
I can’t wait for you to work with our New Orleans Complete Show Services team. We had a great show and also installed some large and small exhibits as an I&D EAC last week. Whether you have Johnny, Victor, Joe, Larry, Craig or John as your lead foreman or on your crew, we know you will be taken care of properly and have a great time in New Orleans.
In a city that prides itself on fun, food and family, we‘re excited to be staffed by a crew whose family heritage goes back 3, 4 and 5 generations. Skilled installation experts, professional complete show services, great food and plenty of fun to be had….we now offer our Complete Show Services in New Orleans. We know you love our service in Las Vegas and will love it even more when you call on us to assist with your next event in New Orleans. Give us a call; our staff will welcome you with warm and gracious southern hospitality and a professional skill set that will produce your exhibit or entire show, on time, on budget and hassle-free. If you are looking for a show services company that will exceed expectations with positive show experiences give us a call and I’ll set you up with our New Orleans Complete Show Services team, 504-641-EXPO (3976)
